friends are life sustaining.
This is a sweet little image that I received from the wonderful Lacey Lassey. I thank her so much for the kind and thoughtful deed in sending me a number of darling little girls :) I did paper piecing for her outfit and colored the rest with copics. I have been away from carding for quite some time but I hoping that these little ladies will give me the inspiration to get back on track. I continue to enjoy looking at the wonderful work all you ladies do and I am so in awe of you all.

I was not too happy with the last card I made for my daughter's birthday so I made another one.
I just love the graphic 45 papers. The pleat fold came from a tutorial that I had in my computer from a year or so back but unfortunately I did not save the name of the lady who posted it :( There is no coloring on this card just some stressing. The ticket is for a lunch out :)

Her dad is a computer programmer so she had a "mouse" in her little hand at about 8 months old.
She would sit on her dads knee and chase that mouse all over the screen. It wasn't long before she was climbing up to it on her own.
Once on her feet, she loved to run and have someone throw a pillow at her and she would fall down and laugh so hard. Now I can hardly believe she is turning 13....oh my goodness where has the time gone ?

Hello all. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Here in Canada we are having sunshine and then rain. It changes about every 5 minutes but it is still a nice day over all. I support an adult lady with disabilities in my home and I have made a Mother's Day card for her to send to her mom. I used velum for the first time ever. I used it on the butterfly wings. I will certainly use it more often now that I have seen how easy it is to work with :) I used the wee stamp "Peggy" but I'm sure of the name of the die cut I used as I have taken them all out of their folders :( I colored her with copics. Thank you Candy Mills (I love chocolate) for the lovely saying that I used on the inside of the card. The lady I support colored the tilda on the inside with pencil crayons....I quilled the flower and the corner die is the Darlington Corner from 100% Steel craft die. Thanks for stopping by and having a gander.

I have made a card for friends who just lost their father & father-in-law. I got the inspiration from a Gina K youtube. I used 4 different dies and I'm sorry I don't know the names. I have taken all my dies out of the original packaging and did not save the names. :( I believe they are all spellbinders so you may recognize them. Anyway, thankyou for taking a look. Have a fantastic day.

Good morning folks. I would like to share the Easter box I made for my granddaughter. She is the delight of my life and this was sure a project of love. Many many hours but all worth it. I found the patterns for the quilling (cross and butterfly) on google. The inspiration for the box came from Norma (from my craft room). The papers came from my stash that I have had for a few years from designer scrapbook pad. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

I have made a version of the book card and turmed it into a "box" card. My friend said she did not have anyplace to store the cards that I gave her so I thought this might work for her :) I got the original idea off youtube and just made it bigger. Did some quilling and a diji and presto, here you have it.

This is a card that a made for a friend who loves fashion. She is always up on the latest trend and I thought this diji fit the purpose so well. I got the papers from our local craft store called Cherry Lane.
How cute is that :) I colored "90s girl" (that's my diji's name) with copics and the inspiration for the card design came from Mariannes Papirverden.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I am off to Vancouver today which is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away depending on traffic. It is raining, windy and cold out there so not going to be a fun time :(
God Bless you all

Thank you so very much ladies for your encouraging remarks. I am relatively new at all this crafting. At least new compared to most of you. I started dabbling about 2 years ago and am becoming more and more addicted. I have a wonderful friend who is my mentor and she has taught me to quill, card make and coloring techniques. I have been so awestruck and inspired by all your work. The more I learn and see, the more I realize I have such a long way to go. Your collective creative abilities are beyond awesome.
Hugs to ya all :)
